UL Listed Fire Rated Gypsum Board

UL Listed Fire-rated gypsum board is a form of drywall/Ceiling that helps prevent the spread of flames across a compartment or business. Gypsum is approximately 21% chemically combined water, which greatly contributes to its effectiveness as a fire-resistive barrier.

Cementation Spray Materials

Sprayed fire-resistive materials (SFRMs) are passive fire-protection materials intended for direct application to structural building members. Cementitious sprays are an easy-to-apply and extremely effective fireproofing solution for steel and concrete structures in high-risk environments. They are fully weatherproof and offer outstanding fire protection during and even after a fire, blast, or explosion.

Intumescent paint

Intumescent coatings often referred to as intumescent paint, are used in buildings as a passive fire resistance measure. They can be applied to structural members as an aesthetically pleasing fireproofing product. Intumescent coating is an increasingly used way of providing passive fire protection to load-bearing structures, especially structural steel, which is becoming more and more popular in the modern architectural design of both industrial and commercial buildings.

Fire & Smoke Curtain

Fire and smoke curtains are barriers replacing fire doors and fire partitions and provide a safe escape for up to 4 hours to the occupants of a building in event of a fire. Fire and smoke curtains help prevent the further spread of smoke and flames and reduce the risk of death due to inhalation. Fire-resistant curtains serve three main purposes in a building: to limit the initial development of a fire, to prevent the spread of fire, and to protect escape routes.

Fire & Smoke Damper

Fire & dampers are provided with an hourly fire rating and also control the movement of smoke in dynamic air distribution systems, and they reduce the possibility of smoke transfer within ductwork or through wall openings. Fire & smoke dampers are required where air ducts penetrate walls that are rated for up to 3 hours. They are needed in all air transfer openings (non-ducted) in rated walls, regardless of the rating. And they are required at some, but not all penetrations of rated floor assemblies and shaft enclosures.

Fire Rated Expansion Joint

An expansion joint is a type of structural gap designed to allow for the expansion and contraction of materials in response to temperature changes, moisture. An expansion joint that runs through a building may interrupt a fire rated assembly. Fire Stop expansion joint foam filler is a non-fibrous sponge making an ideal fire barrier. It is an economical seal between building elements where minimal movement is expected and is available up to 4 hour’s fire rating.

Fire Stop System

A firestop or fire-stopping is a form of passive fire protection that is used to seal around openings and between joints in a fire-resistance-rated wall or floor assembly. Firestops are designed to maintain the fire-resistance rating of a wall or floor assembly intended to impede the spread of fire and smoke.
